I got this from a friend who went down to Singapore over the weekend. It’s Sakura Mochi! Apparently it’s a seasonal okashi they have during the blooming of the sakuras. The sakura leaf is salted roofing the mochi. The mochi is sweet and filled with lovely red bean paste. Yummy. I had it with a cup of hot green tea. Simply delightful. I’m gonna learn how to make it.

Sakuramotchi is a tamagotchi that looks like sakuramochi. The tama name just has a t in it.
