Koko ni iru yo – Soulja featuring Aoyoma Thelma

Currently on the oricon charts, i was introduced to this song by KC. Well, actually she wanted to send me another song, One Way by the featured artist above (青山テルマ). I heard it on Youtube and it was pretty good. The music and voice, kinda reminded me of Jyongri’s My Possession. She really looks like sh’s having a ton of fun in that video, the way she shakes it….gosh, i wished i had that kind of energy…

This song,  ここにいるよ, it’s R&B japanese style, to me, sounds a little like Eminen and Dido’s Stan or perhaps like Puff Daddy’s (back in the day) and Faith Evans, I’ll be missing you…Perhaps the reason being that the guy raps and the girl churns out soulful melodies which gave its similarity. Well, I immediately like the song as it kinda got me movin’ in a light head bopping manner, you know like one of those MP3 players or Handphone ads where the guy is totally spaced out and just enjoying his music. Haha…a little overshot there, but overall i think it’s quite a great tune and japanese music lovers will enjoy it.

Here’s another song by Rip Slyme, an old song, rakuen beibe (楽園ベイベー), courtesy of Hana. Since this is kind of a R&B/ hip hop post, i’ve decided to include this song as well…it’s really quite good! The same kind of stuff you would expect from M-flo.. and it’s new to me. This song is taken from the Tokyo Classics album.

And another song by Homemade Kazokou (HOME MADE 家族), this is Thank You. The same folks that brought you Shooting Star. Thank You is an old song as well, but i kinda like it, very catchy. Another great song to get your ass movin…and also as a appreciation gesture to both KC and Hana…

Hello… I randomly ran into your site and I love what you put up. I love the song Koko ni iru yo and this song kind of reminds me “Where’d you go” by Fort Minor. In a way its the opposite song from each other. *shrug* I don’t know. :)

    Hello!
I accidentally heard “Sotsugyo”, “Koko ni iru yo”, “100 …”,” soni …”( sorry, I do not remember after a few …) by Soulja, from which I enjoyed him, I find pictures and music by Soulja.
although I do not listen because I do not understand Japanese, but every time I hear this song, I feel …
